In addition to the website, Alcove also developed a monthly newsletter that compiled all of Lan Na Biophilia’s latest updates. The newsletter, sent at the start of each month, ensured that followers stayed informed and engaged with the project’s milestones. We also managed Lan Na Biophilia’s LinkedIn page, creating content to share the progress with a professional audience interested in sustainable architecture, biophilic design, and eco-friendly innovations.
Building a following and generating interest
While the goal of the website wasn’t direct sales, it successfully captured the interest of a growing audience intrigued by the potential of biophilic design. The timeline feed kept users coming back to check for updates, and the monthly newsletters ensured consistent engagement. By fostering an online community following the development closely, Lan Na Biophilia positioned itself as a thought leader in biophilic and sustainable residential design. This ongoing interest will serve as a solid foundation when the prototype home is eventually completed and sold, setting the stage for future projects.
Showcasing sustainable innovation through biophilic design
Lan Na Biophilia, led by founder Marc Beetlestone, is pioneering a residential development prototype in Chumphon, Thailand, inspired by the healing powers of nature. Marc’s vision was to create a home using biophilic design principles—a space fully immersed in nature, constructed with recycled materials, and utilizing innovative sustainable technologies like solar panels, passive cooling, geothermal heat transfer, and a groundbreaking partnership for rainwater utilization. The goal wasn’t just to build a house but to document the journey of sustainable, biophilic innovation. Additionally, we also created a page with details about the property, Phrae Residence.

Crafting a journey-centric website with dynamic updates
Lan Na Biophilia’s website wasn’t intended to function as a traditional sales platform but rather as an engaging space where people could follow the progress of the prototype home. Alcove's solution was a minimalist, visually appealing site that centered on a timeline of development updates. We designed a scrollable feed that revealed individual "update cards" as users navigated from the most recent project milestone to the earliest. Each card offered a snapshot of the construction progress, sustainability innovations, and new collaborations, giving visitors a sense of involvement in the journey.
